A skill is a SKILL.md that states when to run, which tools to call, how to validate, and what to return. MCP is the live connection. Install the skill, connect MCP once, then run the first prompt on a project that has scan data.

A useful skill states:
- When to use it
- Required access (
aiseo_list_projectsfirst) - The sequence of tools
- How to validate (no invented ranks or URLs)
- What to return
- What requires your approval (send, post, publish)
Skills do not replace MCP. Without a connected server, the agent will guess. If MCP is already connected, skip the OAuth steps.
